Hunson Abadeer and Marceline are father and daughter to one another. Although they've had their differences in the past, it is still obvious that these two care greatly about each other. Since Hunson's first appearance in the episode "It Came From the Nightosphere," they've been slowly patching up their broken relationship.

- In "It Came From the Nightosphere," Marceline's relatioship with her father was a little shakey due to the fry incident. At the end, however, Hunson apologizes and says that he does love Marceline
- In "Return to the Nightosphere/Daddy's Little Monster," Hunson tricks Marceline into putting on the Nightosphere Amulet and ruling the Nightosphere. At the end, he realizes his fault and admits to Marceline thatheis proud of her for who she is.
- In fanfictions togehter, Hunson and Marceline share a bond together. However, it is a mystery of why Hunson abandoned her in the flashback of "I Remember You."

- I respect that Hunson and Marceline are family. But I think there is more to their family than people think there is...
